HORRIFYING!! There is never enough staff on duty and so much neglect! It would take too long. Absolutely negligent care. My father's doctor was shocked when he realized my father was suffering many signs of severe neglect after a few months at Boone Ridge: dehydration, malnutrition, untreated sores, dozens of falls, and broken bones. Thankfully, we got him out. Boone Ridge should be ashamed.

Staff needs more training in memory care. They need to stop hiring just anyone. People who actually care about making other’s lives meaningful not just there for the paycheck. Staff take unnecessary breaks and lack team effort. Management.. don’t even get me started. Staff was getting bullied and when brought to attention, nothing happened. The environment is unsafe for residents. Seen staff to staff altercations so many times and poor choice of language in front of residents. I hope state can change this place around. Poor residents.

Three months after moving in, I can see that my parents are thriving at Boone Ridge. The staff are kind and work very hard to keep my parents happy and healthy. The building is beautiful and their apartment is spacious and comfortable. I have joined them for several meals and have been impressed with the quality of the food. For all these reasons I highly recommend this place!

Complete waste of time. We put a deposit down for memory care on 1/23/19. Communication skills definitely needs improvement. I almost always had to call for updates. They knew from the beginning that my mom used a tab alarm on her wheel chair along with a lap buddy. They finally did an evaluation on my mom on 3/19/19. I was told I would hear back by 3/22 or 3/25 at the latest in regards to my mom's care plan. That came and went with no phone call. I called multiple times trying to get information and was told someone would call me back, but no one did. Finally, on 4/5 I spoke to the memory care administrator and she said that they were not allowing tab alarms at their facility so my mom no longer qualified to go there. I asked how they were going to keep residents in wheelchairs safe without tab alarms and was told residents that require tab alarms would probably not be a good a fit for their community. I guess they have a facility located in Corvallis that uses this same policy. My question is, if they knew this was going to be their policy, why string us along, knowing that my mom wouldn't qualify to go there? It upsets me to think about all my wasted time with phone calls and multiple trips to the facility. Their building looks nice. That's about the only positive thing I can say about this whole 2 and a half months process.
