They are great representatives of Lowes, as a company that cares! This store had all the right pieces and the knowledgeable staff that helped me put it all together.

Always good service. They need "call buttons" other isles though. The last 3 times I visited, I needed to search for someone to pull the item I needed down from the upper backstock area because the shelf was empty. That said, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Management, could do a better job of making sure the shelves are stocked and making sure there always a real person available for check out. I'm not using self check.

I bought a $150 kobalt tool chest, and at self check out, they offered to add your phone number for quick, easy returns. (I will choose the paperless option whenever It is available.) Well, I ended up needing to return to the tool box. When I went to customer service and told them I needed to return the item and the receipt is linked to my phone number. The lady looked at me and said, "Why would you do that? Our system doesn't actually work with saving receipts to phone numbers; we use emails." I told her their system didn't offer to send it to my email; they asked if I wanted to link it to my phone number. She once again says well, our system doesn't work. I really don't know why you saved it to your phone number. Like, I am supposed to know they have a faulty system. So, I asked if she could look the receipt up by credit card? She said yes, then told me nothing was showing up on my card. I started to go online and look at my statement when I realized I paid cash for the tools. And because their system didn't work or was faulty, I now have a $150 gift card instead of the cash I paid for it. UGH! So be warned; don't trust their system to save your receipts using your phone number. Or that they could even look on their system to see when the last one was sold. Double, ugh!! It's so frustrating.

So I went to Lowe's to buy a new battery operated lawn mower. I found the one I wanted, so I started to look around for somebody to help me because the lawn mowers are locked up. The store seemed really empty and I saw a few employees that appeared bored when I first walked in. After about 5 minutes of wandering around looking for someone, an employee finally appeared, swiftly walking as if he was on a mission. Out of desperation, I quickly asked him if I could get help with the lawn mower. He said he would call somebody, so he went right over to a service phone and announced over the PA system that I needed assistance. While I waited, I browsed nearby accessories. I was in the same aisle so there's no way they would have missed me. Anyway, I was amazed by all of the accessories I could buy that could be powered by the same kinds of battery as the lawn mower. I began thinking about all the accessories I could buy. We just bought our house last summer and we don't have a lot of yard tools yet, so this would be a perfect setup for us. After several minutes of waiting and browsing, I decided it might be a good idea to price shop on Amazon on my phone. I soon discovered that I could buy the same lawn mower and many of the accessories for less with free Prime shipping. After several more minutes of that and still not getting any help from Lowe's, I decided to look at Ace Hardware online to see if they have the same products at my local store. Turns out I can buy the exact same lawn mower for $30 less then Amazon and $50 less than Lowe's. My customer experience at Ace is always amazing so that's a plus. So it looks like I'm going to Ace tomorrow morning to pick up my new lawn mower and accessories.
