We wanted to eat at the black bear chain down the road, but the line to get in appeared to be too long compared to our hunger levels, so we looked on Google Maps for an alternative, and this was what we chose. And am I ever glad! Incredible hospitality, and very delicious food and ample portions for the price, I am very impressed with this one-of-a-kind Newberg-only family restaurant. This is a place that I would really look forward to returning to. I guess that I will have to visit my friend in Newberg again to get that opportunity. I want to stress again the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. That is something that I might have thought had all but disappeared from our society. I'm exaggerating a little, but I mean to say that they are just downright friendly and make you glad to know that you are welcome there. And the food is great!

We absolutely love this place. The breakfast is great (minus the sourdough toast, which is more like a thick piece of undercooked Texas toast/bread...we prefer regularly sliced and crispy), and my 2 sons have to come weekly for their chicken caesar, which they say is the best they've ever had. Great, kind staff. Our favorite "local" spot...we live in Sherwood, so only 10 min away).

Had the 2022 YCAP fundraiser Meltdown sandwich which was very good without the ranch dressing. Side was a good salad.

Great local establish with excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, as well as a bar in the back. Service was friendly and fast. There is usually a wait for tables on weekend mornings, and with good reason: the food is delicious. The gravy is especially good, light and fluffy in texture with a deep savoriness.
