My husband had a minor accident with a tree limb that we thought might need stitches. The staff was kind, patient, considerate and accommodating. We were seen within 3 hours (6 people ahead) in a fair, orderly fashion, in a very reasonable time frame for an urgent care. The doctor was thorough and remedied the problem. I would definitely go there again and recommend others do so as well. Way cheaper than ER and far less hectic!

The staff is nice, but the doctors are stubborn and seem unwilling to educate themselves on certain medications or illnesses. I came in to get a quick refill for my inhaler.(switched insurance but have over a month wait for new PCP) I was asked to list all my ailments. When I did, I explained I also have Gastroparesis that I'm prescribed Medical Marijuana for. I then got asked "doesn't that just make it worse" and received backlash when I explained how it helps me eat when nothing else does. In fact, it jump starts my stomach muscles to actually function when they normally don't. That often results in a severe amount of pain and vomiting, making me unable to keep food down without this medication. She assumed I drive while intoxicated just because I use this medication daily, and advised me it was illegal and not to do it without even asking if I did. Yet I received no question about driving and taking Zoloft, which is technically also illegal to drive on in Oregon. The bias these doctors have with judging a patients activity or behavior based solely on what medication they feel is morally better is just deplorable. This is the 3rd and last time I will go to this facility as this has happened every time with 3 difference physicians. I would avoid this clinic if you want a proper diagnosis.

Went to Newberg Urgent Care. Only complaint was my insurance wasn't accepted there. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was seen by the doctor in less than 10 mins. He was nice and friendly. If need be I'd go back. Very good service

Very unhappy with urgent care . They close at 6:30 and we got there at 5:45 and they sent us away, said the doctor had seen his last patient, well no he hadn't because we were there. Will not ever go back there and will not be recommending. Went to providence hospital where we were treated very well and have had an amazing experience with the nice doctors and nurses who have been very companionate and friendly.

Since day one, Providence has denied a contract with Newberg Urgent Care. I understand they prefer to have a captive Newberg Market. However, we are pleased to see and treat you, you would be responsible for payment and we would provide you with a generous discount. P.S. As the first of the year, Providence insurance chose to disallow any out-of-network expense to be applied to your deductible, as it had in the past (out-of-network coverage is a major legal issue currently being addressed in the courts nationwide). This is a strategy to create fear, which is a great motivator. It creates fear that you won't meet your maximum deductible so you should go to a Providence provider. But how many people actually reach their deductible maximum? It's a very small percentage. The choice remains to the patient to choose where they can be seen now and more conveniently since they will bear the cost either way.
I apologize for the delayed response. Newberg Urgent Care is on contract with MODA; you receive full benefits per your Moda Plan. Additionally, you may call the 1-800 number on the back of your Moda Insurance card to request the specific coverage per your particular Moda insurance plan. I appreciate your interest and inquiry. We welcome your calls and visits. Thank you kindly.
You should probably see a doctor about that.
