First off all the staff here are super friendly! I recently revisited this place and they are so spacious now. They have outdoor patio seating and two spacious rooms for indoor seating. Their patio area is neat, very nice, and relaxing to be out there on a warm day. The wine here isn't cheap but pretty tasty. The tasting fee is $20, which will waive if you are buying a bottle or more. I didn't get anything this time besides the tasting because I was on a bike. They do offer some snacks like cheese plates, nuts, and other things to munch on. Some evenings they offer game night and live music. Check them out if you are in Newberg!

$20 tasting fee that is waived with a $50 bottle purchase. Rosé was delicious, the rest of the wines were on the dry side, which they specialize in... Not to my liking, but my friend really enjoyed the Pinots. Atmosphere was good, decorations were tasteful and well done. Manager seemed very knowledgeable, but our server seemed less so. Didn't really get much background info on the different wines except the last one, which she went into excellent detail about. We still enjoyed it overall and would recommend.

Absolutely incredible. We had some great wines in the area over a birthday weekend in September, but hands down, Chehalem takes the cake. The depth and complexity of the wines here was staggering. I am rarely in awe of wine, but this was simply beyond words. Very cute tasting room as well that had been prepared appropriately for social-distancing, and clearly they were not seating nearly as many people as they normally would. Great to have Chehalem care not only about the amazing quality of their product but also their customers. Do not miss if you are in the area!!!

This is a very cool tasting room/wine bar. It's spacious and has a great feel to it. We got excellent service from Scott, who walked us through an impressive flight. Wines were very good, especially the pinots and the yet to be released Rosé. Biggest surprise, cheese board. Best we've ever had!

Yes! Chehalem runs a Friday night concert series 6p-9p every week, May-October. Great local musicians and bands, a selection of wines-by-the-glass, and cheese & charcuterie boards at the Wine Bar tasting room. Great fun! Check their website under events to see who is playing weekly.
Don't believe they do. Was last there Aug. 2018.
