This trail is beautiful 😍 and very well maintained. Anyone visiting this trail should note that they close at 6:15pm(winter), the entry gate closes but it automatically opens if you drive closer to the gate.

Trailhead is excellent. Plenty of parking and a shaded restroom/info center where you can prep for your hike. I took the Gateway Loop trail on a 75 degree Sunday afternoon in Feb. Surprisingly, there weren’t many people on the loop. I went counterclockwise but didn’t see any particular advantage of one direction over another. The trail was mostly rock covered (difficult footing and easy to twist an ankle). That said, it is a very scenic and fairly easy 4 miles.

Very nice trails and great scenery. Ample parking so that's a plus. They have easy and harder trails and short .7 miles to much longer full day hikes.

Fantastic spot to hike. Great trailhead amenities and well marked trails. The trails are VERY rocky so make sure you have the proper shoes. I hiked to Inspiration Point and it was awesome with beautiful views. It is a 6mi route round trip. I did it in 1:50 but that was running half the time, which I wouldn’t recommend on the rocky paths. For a hike, I’d estimate it would take 3hrs.
