I arrived at PDX on 6/23/22 and had to go to the counter to get tickets, wheelchair assistance etc. An asian lady named Yvonne was my representative. Most other airports have a separate wheelchair area where you go and just sit down and get checked in from there. It kind of defeats the purpose when you have to stand in long lines just to get wheelchair service that you have already requested.. Anywho Ms Yvoone showed me what the "American" in American Airlines stood for on yesterday when she TOLD me that i wasn't handicap after asking for my wheelchair . Her african american coworker with braids that stood next to her at the counter cosigned her words by looking over at me once she said it with a nasty look. The American society that i live in thinks that they are better than everyone else. They are rude, obnoxious and think that they can say and do whatever they want but as soon as i say or do something back im the person thats wrong. Thats what America has become, the entitled and privileged people looking down on others because on God had that been a white person at that counter those words wouldve never came from her lips. That incident couldve gone totally left if i were one of those people. I see different videos of airlines online where there is some kind of altercation and i always wonder what happened in the beginning for this to happen. Lets just say its not just the customers. I was humiliated especially by the time the customer laughed behind me but i kept my composure. If this is the best that you can do as far as customer service then maybe you all need a do over in hiring. Im sorry covid changed my life and that im still suffering with lung/breathing problems. Im sorry that after 25 years of driving trucks that i have bad knee/hip. Im sorry that a person hit me head on and it crushed my heelbone and cracked my ankle and that i cant stand for long periods of time, moreless walk a country mile thru that airport. Im also sorry for the weight that is on top of all of that. Your representatives are atrocious and im taking this email to the top. My experience in flight delays, being checked in on a plane that i obviously wasnt on(im sure TSA would love to know how that happened), the app crashing leading me to believe i was on one flight and it put me on another and just the overall experience from the ticket counter staff was enough. I have never seen so many angry people in my life at the airport woth super long lines at customer service

My original flight was an Alaska flight operated by American Airlines from Portland to Seattle, then to London to Madrid. But apparently alaska changed their schedule back in February and told American Airlines and American didn’t tell me until I tried to check in where they told my my 5:15 flight no longer exists and even if they could get me to Seattle, the flight to London was completely full. Was able to rebook and lose a day and money on ground transportation and hotel as it was to late to cancel

Flew to PHX on American Airlines over the Holidays and I have to say, it wasn't that bad. We've all seen the unruly actions of others posted all over the news, which is unfortunate. The two flights I made were pretty uneventful except for one female passenger that made it a little difficult for the flight attendant on the departure flight out of PDX. Attendants handled the situation with extreme prejudice and professionalism. And we hadn't even left the breezeway yet. Over all, a good experience. The downside: no complimentary adult beverages during the fight.

Some of the worst service ever. My girlfriend and I flew from Hawaii to Oregon in September of 2020 and had to change our tickets last minute to book with Delta because AA cancelled our flights last minute. When I called and asked about it, they had no flights available and she said she would issue a refund for our inconvenience..Liar, they gave us a flight credit that will NEVER be used because this was the first time we’ve flown in YEARS and it was a one way. We don’t plan on flying anywhere else for a long time. Complete waste of over $500

My recommendation is to keep an eye on your AA app in case of any changes. I just came back from central America last weekend and my flight from SAL to DFW was delayed for 3 hours. If it wasn't for the app and email notifications about my flight I would have been screwed.
