The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, but the room had a pungent musty odor. We’re not sure if it was coming from the A/C or the carpet. The smell permeated our clothes and made it rather difficult to sleep. This hotel does not compare to the other courtyards by Marriott.

I went out of my way to not stay here a second time. I got stuck above the pool on the second floor and I could not breathe in the room because of the chlorine. They were short on rooms but they did their best. The room was barely clean and things were well worn. The staff seems to not really care unfortunately.

The regular sized rooms are decent enough each one that I've stayed in has a balcony or access to the courtyard, king size bed with access to cable and Netflix. The hotel is centrally located to shops and hiking trail. Not sure why the pool and gym still aren't open as covid restrictions are non existent throughout the area. Don't bother staying in the suite unless you require a shower that is wheelchair accessible. Although the rooms are spacious.. they could use some simple updates. Like move the sink from behind the bedroom door, install outlets on the counter so the cofffee maker can be plugged in without moving it across the room. Update the furniture , so that they don't look like they were stolen from a college dorm room. A larger TV. The TV here was at least 10 years old and probably 34". Why is there just a small closet in the bedroom? Could use hooks by the door in case you were using it as a social meeting place. But there was a sign by the sprinkler that said don't use as a hook instead. So just don't bother with the suites here. Stick with the regular rooms.

Will not be staying here again. It was dark, filthy, and I believe the pictures speak for themselves. There was also no luggage rack. Pool has been closed for months (at least). The heater/AC was extremely loud and came on approximately every 5 minutes. The coffee maker looked like it would make a miniature cup of coffee. The phone was old and disgusting. I wish I had taken a better photo of it.
