Amazing! Stopped into the historic bar for a drink and it was breathtaking! A walk around the lobby gave us insight on the history and also local attractions currently happening. The bar is part of an elegant restaurant, but you will be served if you are casual. Lots of activity. Lively room with true craft cocktails. Very impressive!

The hotel itself is a little run down with some cracks in the glossy veneer but the dinning room and restaurant is awesome. The old fashion is good. The burger is INSANE. SO good. I’m talking top 10. Seriously, try it and if you don’t like it, down vote this.

Very disappointed with our stay. We arrived at 4pm and were told that our King bed room was not available and they didn't know when it would be. Instead were placed in a handicapped-accessible room with two Queens at the end of a long hallway with stained curtains. Will not be coming back.

The worst! Dining experience ever! Brunch was terrible! If it were possible to give No stars, that's what I would give. The sausage was deep-fried and Actually Uncooked - that's right it was raw. When shown that and requested new, cooked sausage, we were told they didn't have any more sausage. The Belgian waffles were covered in walnuts, which was Not listed on the menu, but as it happens told the waitress about our walnut allergy, when we requested a new order, we were then told that there were No more Belgian waffles. So, get this raw sausage, but NO more sausage and Belgian waffles covered in walnuts that would cause a severe allergic reaction, but NO more waffles. How odd??? Wait there is more. Gave us the wrong bottled water; took forever to get creme for coffee; took forever to get mimosas, after asking where they were, then being told that, they were out of the house mimosa. Yes, that's right again NO mimosas either. We went there for brunch and there was Nothing to eat or drink for brunch! The attitude of the staff was terrible! They were Definitely not interested in serving us. We explained ALL of this to management and refused to pay. We went elsewhere and had a wonderful meal. AVOID the Cavalier at all cost! The staff and the food are terrible!!!

A year later, and good ol Joe still has yet to check back in with those prices. Let's hope it was a long engagement, eh?
Across street, Orange and 11th, sort of diagonal from Hotel DuPont.
Yes, with an added deposit.
Honestly, I would assume their baker would be flattered for their wares to go outside their property. Just give them a call. Good Luck.
