I am a dog sitter and I have taken a black lab, cockapoo, king cavaliers and pomski to this park and they have all done very well. My own 8-pound Cavapoo however, does not do very well here. He’s been bullied by the bigger dogs a couple times and now I bring him in a backpack and either let him roam or have a break depending on the other dogs that are there. To be fair, he was rescued and is very timid. For medium and large dogs, it’s amazing! Features a large fenced in area with a concretely path leading to the lake. There are off the beaten path shade trails too.

Always a great place to take the dog. I was surprised to see it probably 30 different cars cuz the freezing weather is taking a break. Yeah there's somebody Parts but the mulch helps that give a nice walking surface we don't have a bunch of mud on your feet

A really nice off-lead dog park. Lots of amenities: dog & human water fountains, waste disposal stations for the dogs and porta-potties & restrooms for the people, shaded park benches, woodland trails & a dog beach. The beach is easily accessible via a maybe .75 mile sidewalk across open fields, but the prettier walk is through the woods via the South Shore Trail. No food, not even dog treats, allowed.

plenty of parking and lots of room for Dogs to run and play. The best part for water loving dogs is atbthevendvof the trail is a lake with a beach!! plenty of benches for humans to sit. highly recommend.
