Sweet little bookstore with friendly, helpful staff. Feels good to know you're supporting the library. Great place to donate or buy books.

Amazing experience. Kind and personable. Nathan went way beyond what I would expect good service to be. He helped find me a "hard to find" book for a good price. Even if he didn't find the book, I would've left a 5 star review because he spent the time looking even though he wouldn't make a sale, and was genuinely happy to do it.

Always a great place to find some lost treasure or an inexpensive entry into a new author or series. During the pandemic, shopping is by appointment only but they have been doing a pop-up shop outside in front of the store on Saturdays providing the weather is good.

The folks are awesome. Books are super important to me, and the price and selection is pretty good here! I'm so glad I have these ppl when I need to shop for a good used book.

No. They do not buy books. All books are donated with the proceeds of the sales going to support the Beaverton library.
Hi Jennifer, I apologize for the delayed response! We are accepting in person donations on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-5 and Wednesdays and Fridays from 11-1. If you have less than 30 items, you are welcome to use our after hours donation bin at any time, located in our driveway. Please let us know if you have any further questions, and thank you for thinking of us with your donation!
Hi Diane! Appointments are no longer required to shop in the store. Donations can be dropped off on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 5pm anytime, but an appointment is required to make donations during any other business day. Please see our website for more information. Thank you!
Hi Lidia! We don't get manga donated as often, but it does come through occasionally. You can always call to ask about our current stock and see if any new manga has been donated. Thank you! Nathan
We follow social distancing guidelines by scheduling individual shopping appointments and limiting the amount of people in the building. Masks, sanitizer, or provided gloves are required of all patrons and volunteers upon entering the store. Quarantine and testing protocols are also in place for all staff in case of exposure or infection.
Hi June, Yes, we are! Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, we are asking anyone with more the 30 items to schedule an appointment to donate. If you have 30 items or less, you can use the silver donation bin located next to our driveway at your convenience. It is available 24/7. Thanks so much for thinking of us, and please let us know if we can provide any further information! Carrie Operations Manager
I think not... Since this is a volunteer run, support the library type of place, I think they only take and sell donations (and sell old library books).
I don't think the volunteers check their Google entry. Give them a call! Sometimes it takes them a minute to search their shelves because they don't seem to have a digital inventory but for the price and the good cause your money goes to, it is worth it!
I don't know what in a basic text books are, but it is always worth a visit to the book corner as their books are so inexpensive and they have so many. However I would suggest that you call them first and ask them if they have those books. I don't know their number, but you can definitely get it either online or from the Beaverton Public Library. Good luck
No they do not buy books, but they do accept donations to sell for the benefit of the Beaverton Libraries.
Yes! There is even a drop box for after hours. They will provide a receipt if you ask.
