Best place to buy bamboo! Customer service was fantastic, and their knowledge about bamboo is sure to blow your mind. We had a fantastic experience and came home with exactly what we needed: the right bamboo for our project, rhizome barrier, bamboo food (for Fall), and a wealth of knowledge. Thank you for all your help!

LOVE the black bamboo! It took a little budgeting cause it ain't cheap, but it looks awesome in my planter boxes that I built. They have a wide and varied selection of bamboo to choose from and extensive knowledge about it. I appreciated that they swapped out a couple of the pots that I bought when I had an issue with them at no charge. Quick tip, if you wanna save a some bucks and are hauling your bamboo away in an open trailer, you'll want to protect it by tarping it or wrapping it with cellophane wrap (like from Home Depot for moving boxes, etc so that canes don't break/bend and leaves go flying off everywhere). They will do if for you there if you want but there is a charge (it would be nice if they included that as a free service 'cause its easy enough, but hey, I guess they aren't a charity). Anyway, its easy to do on your own if you're prepared. I'm very happy with the black bamboo we got and can't wait for it to multiply and fill in next season (I hear it is quite prolific in growth!)

Go here! What a wonderful experience, and friendly service. A developer tore down the old-growth forest next to our home and built a house looking right into our windows. We needed instant screening, but also wanted a unique species. Will and David's expertise showed right away, and they took time going over plans, ideas, and varieties with us. I don't think I've ever emailed that many questions for anything I've purchased--and they never made me feel I was wasting their time. Very kind! Will and David were able to provide us with a stunning collection of Phyllostachys Aureosulcata ‘Spectabilis’ that were nearly a decade old. They even have a great fertilizer for you to use. When budget allows, I'll be going back for more, and I strongly recommend them.

Bamboo are strong and flexible, able to withstand strong winds. Planters, and root barrier will control spreading so you don't need to worry about it growing into the neighbor's yard. Have a great day. -The Bamboo Oasis Team
