I've used them for many years now for checking and savings accounts for both personal and business and always had a good experience.

We have been with Columbia Credit Union for over 12 years now. The service has always been cordial, welcoming, and efficient. We joined a credit union because most credit unions represent the people they serve. I am not quite sure what some of the people with complaints are looking for, but they come across as rather "entitled". If CCU has not stolen your $$, or has loaned you money in "good faith", there should be no problem. They are a business, and no business can remain open if they allow their customers to make the rules. I am sorry, but relax, people. We are all in this together. Columbia Credit Union is a fine business.

These people make me want to cry they're so frustrating. It has been hell dealing with anything through them. I got a loan for about eight grand for a Subaru Outback that exploded through months after I got it. They had nothing they could do about it then I brought it to a shop and they stole a bunch of parts off of it. I brought it to the Subaru dealership and it was going to be about 15 grand to fix apparently. I lost my job within that time frame and needed to put cheaper insurance so I filed for storage insurance for the vehicle and then put it on it and they told me that there was a gap in my insurance because they didn't accept the storage insurance even though the vehicle hasn't been running and I've been paying for full coverage for the car when I couldn't even drive it. I told them that I put full coverage back on it and they've been putting their own insurance on it when I told them I had insurance. Please don't waste your time with this company their horrible. Also I was so frustrated at them that I closed my checking account. Turns out you're not actually able to pay in any way you're alone from a different bank. You have to call over the phone and talk to a robot that constantly interrupts you and hangs up on you and misunderstands everything you say. At this point I don't think there's anything they can do to reverse the damage it's done on my life. I've never hated a company and this the first one I truly go out of my way to stop people from using them. There's one good person there and her name is Emily Proudfoot. She's great but I still had issues with literally every other part of this company.

Need to get their act together. Want to move my money from mega bank to local CU. Checked out CU websites and decided Columbia looks like best fit. Noticed you can apply online. Went through the whole comprehensive process. Got an email that I would have to visit a branch to sign up, and no clear reason what the problem was. Went to a branch. Was told there is a lock on my Equifax credit report. They have to verify I am legit, even just to open savings and checking. Fine. But, there are no locks on my credit reports. I have confirmed. Very high score and no lock/freeze or any issues, Equifax or Experian.

Been a member, business member for 20 plus years. If you are an adult, they take care of you! I've mothing bad to say about them. Sorry you didn't get a free toaster or whatever.
Super easy! Go to your online banking on a computer find tab or button that says "bill pay".. or looks like a blank check on your main screen. Then click on "pay someone newc enter the information needed. after a few minutes you're ready to make payments
Yes, but you must be a member to use it.
I've been able to speak with someone if I wanted too at least during business hours on the regular line. 360 -891- 4000
Either. The Columbia credit union's app had an icon which allowed you to open an account online. I did mine inside the bank. With the easing of COVID I would just double check what they offer.
Absolutely! You can make payments online, over the phone, or at any one of our branch locations!
