We lived at KWest for almost two years. There were some good neighbors and there were some really bad neighbors,i.e. noise, domestic disturbance, drug dealing, fights in parking lot. Non-smoking complex but bathrooms vent into each other and bathrooms often reeked of dope. No carpeting and little soundproofing so you can hear too much from neighbors above and below. If you have noisy neighbors, you’re in trouble. Last neighbor woke us up at 1 a.m when they moved in. Husband asked them to quiet down. Tenant lied and said he yelled and called her names. He did not. We got notice of a $50 excessive noise fine based on her complaint. Our complaints about excessive noise were met with requests for proof. We were told nothing could be done. Odd that we would be fined for excessive noise based on someone’s false assertion and those actually making noise were not fined. Security covers numerous other complexes. Getting help when you need it is almost impossible. A couple in our building threw a bucket of soapy water at our door and made a huge mess inside our apartment and left an aggressive note. No security cameras in breezeways to provide proof. Same couple was convinced we turned them in because their dog was off leash. Dog was off lease but we did not turn them in. We were verbally harassed. Reported to office. No response or follow-up. Typically, if I left a message for the office, it was not returned. Skateboarding is against the lease agreement but was allowed during the pandemic. Was supposed to end when the moratorium did. It did not. Skateboarders were really loud. Imagine summer with windows open. I saw one skateboard kid waving a gun around. . . real or not. I don’t know. Complaints about noise and behavior had no impact. Kids harassed some of the tenants because they complained. Skateboarding continued. Apartments themselves are nice. Neighborhood and many neighbors are not. Witnessed police swarming complex with guns drawn on multiple occasions. Had door body-slammed at 9 p.m. No idea who or why. No security cameras where you really need them. Husband was assaulted in parking lot in broad daylight. For the sake of brevity I’ll stop here. If safety, civility, fairness and a responsive staff matter to you, then these apartments are not for you.

I love it here at K West. I am now in my 3rd year, the office and maintenance staff are awesome. Although security has multiple sites to work they (as well as office staff) have addressed noise control. I am looking forward to starting my 4th year in a 2 bdrm so my daughter can stay on her vacations.

I love living here at k west apartments. The staff here are very professional and friendly, during our waiting time to move in during the summer they were open in communicating with me and my wife. We have two children and they love it here. My experience living at k West has been the best I have ever experienced, thank you so much for being an amazing staff.

Been living here for about a week now! Couldn't be happier! The process took a while but only because its such a new place and my work took a long time to verify my info, other than that its totally worth the wait! The staff were so nice and patient with our fifty calls(i really wanted to move asap!) And got us in as soon as the apartment was ready! Washers and dryers work great! Spacious bathrooms and kitchen area. Safe heaters for my two kids in thier rooms, and the master bedroom is awesome. Definitely have and still will recommend to friends and family. You May have to be on a waitlist but once you get in you'll be happy you waited!
