Positive: The room was very clean with a great view of the Capital. A hot breakfast was included. Pet friendly rooms are available. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Negative: The hotel advertises that parking is included but their garage has a limited number of spaces. The surrounding parking lot isn¿t associated with the hotel and is expensive. There is no on street parking. You aren¿t guaranteed parking.

Excellent stay. Marci and her team went above and beyond. The room was exceptionally clean! Customer service throughout the stay was awesome. I was initially hesitant because of some of the other reviews that I read here, but I’ll definitely be looking here again the next time I stay in Hartford. Parking garage was a little challenging if you don’t have a very compact car but the security door provided reassurance that my car and belongings were locked safely.

The hotel itself is old and the room looks dated. It would do wonders if they simply updated the carpet and the curtains. However, the room was clean, the bathroom was clean, plenty of clean towels, four full sized fluffy pillows. The matress needs to be upgraded, but I slept well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is under the hotel, which gave me a sense of security at night. Upgrade the curtains carpet and mattress and this hotel would be 4 stars.

The term “you get what you pay for” when it comes to this hotel. Beds are small and you only get one pillow per person. Hallway and elevators reeked of pot. Only 2 bath towels for 4 adult size people. Went to ask for more and they didn’t have any. The one person working had to leave front desk to look for some and thankfully found a couple because she said we may have to wait until morning which would’ve been most inconvenient. But my biggest complaint was the shower… standing in a tub with at least 6 inches of water that backed up from the drain with random yucky things floating. They tried to fix it but it didn’t work. They did offer a new room but we declined as it was our last night anyway. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and convenient. Our view of the capital building was pretty awesome. It was convenient to the convention center. Wasn’t the best hotel but not the worst either.
