This is the saddest excuse for a dog park I've ever witnessed. First of all, it's not even fenced in. Second, leashes are required. If that's not bad enough, it's covered in garbage and broken glass. A gentlemen there showed me a giant pile of glass that he spent an hour cleaning up so his dog could be safe. The town should be ashamed of itself for letting this fly.

When we pulled up it was a down hill park in a pit.. don't recommend if you're dog has arthritis and looked kinda dark and dank.

For those who may not realize, Park for Paws is not a dog park. The Village of Catskill will not allow the space to be completely fenced in. The person who created this spot in 2006, created this spot for dog owners to come and enjoy the space while their pooches can do their bathroom business. Other than this park, dogs are not allowed in any other parks in Catskill (I never knew that myself). This information is directly from the person who cultivated and manages this park. I do hope this information helps others.

The problem I have with this place if there's only fencing on three of the four sides so unless you have your dog well-trained he or she can run right into the road I have mobility issues so it would be hard for me to chase after my dog. But if they put up a fence so that the animals could it run into the road I would give it a five for sure
