Such a beautiful theater. I hope one day in the future it can go back to being just one grand room. I can understand how two rooms allows for two movies, two different audiences and therefore more money. But, I wonder if it actually does bring in that much more. Who knows. My only complaint is that they still serve fake trans fat butter only, meanwhile theaters of its size across the country offer real butter and vegan alternatives like Smart Balance or nutritional yeast. Prices are great though. Normal theater prices.

A beautiful old theatre w affordable prices. A great place to take the kids for a Saturday matinee without breaking the bank. Stunning historic building, I'm so glad it's still being used and open to public.

This location is an old Vaudville-style theatre that has been converted into two movies screens. The facilities may look dated and shabby, but considerable renovations have made them 3-D capable, improved the sound, and re-upholstered seats. The prices are the lowest in the immediate area for first-run movies and the concession stand is more than reasonable. (My wife and I can do a matinee with snacks for $20 .) They are also rarely so crowded that you need to reserve seating for big releases, like the one Star Wars films. Bottom line, there's no beating the price and convenience.

Our favorite theater. Friendly young staff, cheap tickets, beautiful old theater with big screens and good sound. They use real butter on the popcorn and it's always good. Must have been an off day for that one guy. I don't know how they stay in business because it's never crowded! Saw The Force Awakens at the Saturday matinee of opening weekend and it wasn't even half full.

Is outside food allowed? I just read that it is unless there is a sign saying that it isn’t allowed. Is there a sight?

Melissa Rompolski | Jun 18, 2018

I dont recall a sign, but I would assume it isnt allowed. Honestly, the tickets and concessions are inexpensive enough that it shouldnt be necessary. Though if you have a medical necessity or allergy, you may be able to work with them. Ask the staff!
