Spray park for the kids, clean, great playground. The actual beach is not well kept. But beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful state park. They do a good job of keeping up with the grounds. Playgrounds are fun for the kiddos. Plenty of bathrooms around. Great place for fishing and boating. Swimming not so much. The "beach" isn't usually maintained and there are no lifeguards. In previous years, we have swam off the beach but the amount of seaweed, tree limbs, sticks, and liter in the water have turned us away. The spray park can be fun! Geared more towards the little kiddos. You are on a time limit inside. Then you have to leave and get back in line. They also shut it down to filter the water throughout the day. Pavilion rental is great for when you wanna throw a party!

Lived here my whole life. Never missed a week without going here. Always lots of waterfowl to view. No hunting is allowed

This place was so much fun. The littles enjoyed the Spray Ground, playground and beach areas. There was plenty of space for the rest of us to picnic and spread out and just enjoy the weather and scenery. The only downside was that the concession was closed.
