Typically if you have a warranty the warranty over when you hit the allotted mileage or time frame. Which ever comes first. For example if you have a 100,000, 5 year warranty and bought your car in 2015. It's now 2020 and your car has 80,000, since it's been 5 years the warrenty is now over regardless of the mileage left. Another example would be that you have had the car for 4 years and the mileage is over 100,000 miles. Your warranty is now over since you have hit the 100,000 mark regardless of the year remaining. If the car has 60,000 miles at time of purchase, then you have 40,000 of warranty remaining. Warranty is until vehicle reaches 100,000 or whatever the allowed time is... Often times 5 to 7 years.
