From the campground it's maybe a 1/2m. Can walk. Just know that the main road leading to the falls is narrow. Beware of cars coming and leaving from the falls entrance.
There is a walking trail coming out of the campground you could use, but sometimes it's not groomed. Would suggest driving over and parking at the falls entrance. Plenty of parking. More convenient.
We drove to the fall's entrance and hiked from there. If you're not prepared for a strenuous hike (we had a two year old), you can park near the top of the falls and do an easier hike to the very top. The campground people are lovely and will help you figure it all out.
Right there at the campgrounds..dont get off trail ,rocks are very slippery...
