Lovely little campsite. Grab a spot next to the creek and you will not be disappointed. We loved hearing the creek as we drifted off to sleep and it also made it so you didnβt hear any of the campers near by. Another perk was that it got nice and cool even on a July evening ππΌ.

Super location. Great staff. Plenty of hot water to wash and do laundry, dishes, etc. Easy walk to the entrance for Crab Tree Falls. Camp site is nice a little dated but have power and water. Super quiet and recommend a visit.

From the first phone call I received from the owner (Maβam forgive me I forgot your name) to check in, stayed and check out everything was perfect. I have been too many camping sites AND this one takes the crown by far. The connection with Mother Nature itβs out of this world. I definitely recommend to anyone to visit this place!!

We stayed here for two nights back in July and loved it. First of all, the campground is in an great location. We were on a road trip but spent two nights at the campground and visited the Crabtree Falls and Spy Rock. This is a private campground and the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. We didn't have cell service and he was happy to provide maps and detailed directions. The campground was clean and quiet. The store had everything we needed and the restrooms were clean. I have told several people about this place and I plan on staying there again.

ATVS can be take up on Meadows Lane but WE do not allow them to be running around the campground. Official Answer from the owners of CRABTREE FALLS CAMPGROUND
From the campground it's maybe a 1/2m. Can walk. Just know that the main road leading to the falls is narrow. Beware of cars coming and leaving from the falls entrance.
Fonda, their rates should be on their website. It depends on the type of site, the number of tents, etc. You can also call and leave a message and they'll call you back with that info.
No it's not. Any regular vehicle can get to it
There is a stocked pond nearby for trout fishing. Alcohol is allowed at your own site.....just take it easy. Rampant drunkeness is frowned upon. Plus quiet time begins at 10 pm.
Just went last week. $60/night. So worth not setting up a tent in this heat and the views are incredible. Ceiling fan and power. May want to bring another fan to stay cool. Got down to mid 70's in the middle of the night so not too bad.
The bathrooms are slightly off center in the middle of the main loop that our campsites are on. It is very centrally located and nothing is too far from anything. Depending on the site it is no more than 75 yards. You can find the layout on our website www.crabtreefallscampground.com
We do not have WiFi. There is also no cellphone coverage in the area.
Yes they are. We have tent, pop-up campers, and RV spots along with 4 primitive cabins.
Not what I would call normal trails. If you are a roadie and are willing to take on a 3,000 foot climb go for it! Some folks will ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway but it is pretty tough as well. We have a gravel drive in the campground and allow bicycles but it is pretty bad if they go down on loose gravel. Ride at your own risk and not recommended.
During the camping season we try to return all phone calls within 24hrs. Sometimes things happen that can slow the process of returning calls. I assure you that if your message is left clear enough for us to get all your information (mainly phone number) you will receive a call back.
