Very nice county park close to relatives so we're staying awhile. Spacious, level sites with 50/30amps. Dump/fill coming in as water locations can be a bit spread out. We heard one train only last evening. Super friendly camp host Judi took good care of us. We love it so far.

It's very well taken care of with beautiful lawns and trees, cement RV pads, restrooms & showers. Part of it overlooks a small lake. All spaces are spacious with 30/50 amp service and a water spigot you share with one neighbor, but NO sewer at the sites. There are dump stations available for a $15 fee.

An absolutely pristine campground right outside of Chicago. We enjoyed one night here on our way through for $35 which included electric. Bathrooms are clean and they have a dump station what more could you ask for?

Better experience than last year. Seems to be more tents using the RV spots rather than the primitive areas. Defeats the save the grass rule for nothing larger than a 3x5 outdoor rug when a 10x12 or larger tent is going cause the grass to die in a 14 day period. Go figure - then add multiple tents on the same site means the footprint will be even greater.
