Lovely little campground deep in the mountains. Nicest pit toilets I've ever seen. Kinda buggy, bring a good spray. Tent pads are sand and very comfortable. The river beach is fantastic, but without shade so be prepared. There are a few first come first serve spots, even if reservations are full it might be worth the trip. Close to a ton of day hikes and day-use park areas.

The host was so helpful! I messed up the reservation on Memorial weekend and we only going to be able to stay for one night. The host was so awesome and let me know that a new site opened up that was not on the reservation site yet. Bathrooms were clean, the new site was awesome! It is way back in the woods but so peaceful.

The same beautiful green/blue water found in Diablo Lake flowing by this beautiful campground. Site number 9 is by far the best site. Be sure to reserve this location for the own private beach, along with the soft sand that comes with. Double sites cost 32$ per night and include a second car spot. Pros: -This campsite site has a public beach and picnic area made for huge groups. -The bathrooms are nice and hardly smell at all. -The host is very friendly and sells wood if you need it. -Fishing is allowed at the river. The clear water makes it easy to see the big fish along with lots of beach to choose from. -I was also told that people tend to camp here and kyak down the rapids a little further down. -At the campsites, the river is calm, quite, and relaxing. Cons: -There is an ungodly amount of mosquitos and no amount of candles, spray, or cream will save you.

It was a beautiful campground and the host was really helpful. The river makes it even beautiful. Large trees act as canopy.

They do have 8 first come first serve sites. The rest are reserveable. Sadly to say, the camp is closed until late May.
Usually by Memorial Day
