Great place to stay, clean, comfortable, close to trails. We stayed upstairs and were very comfortable. Shared bathrooms were clean and spacious, common area has a small fridge and microwave. Easy check in, would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel.

Buffalo Run Inn/North Cascades Inn Exceeded my expectations. When I booked our 1 night stay I had zero to low expectations and wow was I surprised. The inn and our room #5 were spotlessly clean, well maintained and our bed was very comfortable. The fridge in our room contained muffins, fruit and juice for breakfast, as well as cookies. Looked like the inn was newly renovated or just maintained with TLC. I would suggest that the shower head in room #5 be replaced. The Wi-Fi was very good, Verizon cell service was 1 bar or nothing. The owner let us into our room early and he obviously took pride in maintaining his property as he was cleaning up the front when we were leaving. He also owns upriver grill and taproom which is across the street and was headed there to help in the kitchen when we arrived. If you stay at his inn and eat at his restaurant you get a discount. Which we did and had a surprisingly good meal. WOW can’t say enough good things about both places

Husband and I were on a week long trip, visiting the three national parks in Washington. This was, by far, our most favorite of the five places we stayed during our trip! What an absolute delight, in such a beautiful place! I booked the Bigfoot room and couldn't have been more happy with it. Not only was it well appointed, with a comfortable bed, but to learn the artwork was done by the owner, was just amazing! And I have a feeling that the wonderful muffins and cookies that were in the fridge were made by her as well😉 What an awesome treat, along with the fruit, water and juices...not to mention the hot cocoa packets and the noodles! I have never stayed at a place with such wonderful, gracious hosts and highly recommend staying here when in the area! Btw, my husband has not stopped complimenting/thanking me for finding this place...that's how much he loved it❤

First time in the area for us. I can't say enough good things about our stay. We stayed in the Bear room. Celebrating our birthdays for a long weekend. Room was clean, bed comfortable, the snacks in the fridge daily was such a beautiful touch. Owners and staff should be very proud of how well they take care of their guests and the property. We will be back and highly recommend you to everyone we know.
