My neighbor abuses their dog and I’m not sure how I can help to get it safe and away from them. It is beaten and left in cages way too small for their size for way too many hours. What can I do

Call them directly anonymously they will take your report. Or used to go Long Beach app. You might also call the SPCA who also have investigators. Don't wait!

Omg how sad. I don't know the correct answer to this but it looks like someone answered below. I JUST WANTED 2 SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH 4 ACTUALLY CARING ABOUT AN ABUSED ANIMAL &TAKING THE STEPS 2 DO WHATS RIGHT 4 THAT DOG. Time & time again I've known ppl who see these kinds of atrocities happen near them, next door to them, or just knowing of something like this is happening & not doing a thing about it. They obviously feel bad because they talk about it hence the reason I found out&yes ABSOLUTELY I've called & reported abuse. Any time I've seen it or heard of it I will NOT HESITATE 4 EVEN A SECOND 2 CALL & REPORT ANIMAL ABUSE, NEGLECT & CRUELTY. ‼️. There's NO EXCUSE 4 such atrocities&anyone found doing such things NEED 2 BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE & MOST IMPORTANTLY THAT ANIMAL NEEDS SAVING DESPERATELY. TIME IS ALWAYS OF THE ESSENCE.
