If you have a nicer looking vehicle with current tags they usually don't mess with you. If you're in some beatdown rig and look like you're there to vandalize or steal stuff police will probably investigate your presence. Just be chill and there's not usually a problem
No there is not. I travel the mountain often and stop there early morning and several times have seen even nice rigs get tickets. People do however park far from restroom and rest a couple hours.
