Nice hike around the lake with sweeping views of Mt hood. Lots of action hear from paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, etc. Trail is for all ages and sizes. $10 for day use parking. We left around 945am, had been there for about 2 hours. It was Monday and was starting to get packed with people. I imagine it gets super busy as the day goes by, so come early!!

A must come place, very easy to walk along the lake, you can basically bring all your gears here. I enjoyed the Kayaking facing Mount Hood

Good for families and day drinkers. Sooooo smelly, and dead fish, and full dumpsters. It's lovely to walk, better when not so busy or hot. Won't return for a swim unless in desperation.

Trillium Lake is a kind of special place. You get a really nice reflective view of Mount Hood, and a nice little kayak friendly lake to fish for some elusive trout. Multiple entry points for accessing the lake are available, and as long as you get there early, the crowds are pretty manageable. One thing that is nice is the fact there is ample parking here. And it will get busy on weekend afternoons. Small hint- the fish tend to hang out near the shoreline. That or they just are afraid of us.

Camp grounds next to the lake. Some accomodations in Government Camp but realistically your 10-15min towards Portland unless you want to Camp. Then options abound.
