There isthere are cabins at the koa sight you should go to rock city it is really fun during the rocktober fest ruby falls is also nice there is usualy a birds of prey show and a stand selling bald eagle tallons i would have a picture of the one that I have but u can not link pictures it is very easy to get food the big pillow outside of the site

There are tent sites but not a true "primitive" option. Maybe consider Cloudland Canyon or Piegon Mountain if you want primitive.
