There are two sites- there is a camping area near the restrooms for tent camping with fire rings, and RVS. I believe you are referring to off the trail area and would suggest looking at the map of the Diamon Trails posted on photos. According to the Diamond Map, where you start at Point A to Point B is a 3.4 hike. Where Point A is where the bathhouse/restroom near pavilion are located. There is a picture of the Diamond Trail map in photos which may give better perspective.
