Amazing experience camping and climbing at Cherokee Rock. We arrived around 3pm on Friday and had prime camp site picks. It's great the store stays open until 10pm, seeking climbing gear and camping necessities like fire wood.

Probably close by but the village is up on a bluff above the lake.
It has a lot of beautiful places to camp with fire pits. There are some nice rocks to climb to see great views. They have showers, water, a shelter area and a decent bathroom.
Yes, pets are allowed in the park. However, it is advised that they are kept on a leash if they are well mannered ones. There has been issues before with unmanageable animals.
Yes....I've live here for ever so sad it was my first time to see or go...over worked...its worth going so beautiful
