I wouldn't suggest walking. Save the energy and take an uber. You can walk on the beach as much as you want...
The beach is roughly 5 miles away from the hotel, which would be about an hour walk away. Unless you wanna spend 2 hours total walking there and back, I suggest driving
It is definitely a long walk to the beach from this location.
For the famous beaches on the gulf it's about an hour walk. But a nice walk over the bridges on a designated pedestrian path. Would highly recommend. And an über is $5.
I disagree to far to walk to clearwater beach
It is a short walk. But the hotel offers a free shuttle service that will take you anyway within a half a mile from the hotel.
It's pretty close to the beach, you can walk or take trolley/bus.
