Yes, people fish every day. There is even a fishing dock. Not sure why the other person said you can't.

There is a retention pond outside the education center - as such you can fish but my training as an aquatic biologist would lead me to warn you from keeping / eating whatever is caught- same is true for the creek - recently a sewage retention / treatment facility in the same drainage was flooded and the "effluence", bacteria and chemicals washed into the drainage - some locations down stream have scrapped abs hauled off the dirt and grass that was exposed - "at your own risk"
