We were 2 and ordered chilli gobi, veg biryani and plain naan. Chilli gobi was really good. It was crispy and perfect spicy. Veg biryani was okay.

As my first time at Desi-Zaika, let alone trying traditional Indian food, I am overwhelmed. This place has easily made it to my top three restaurants/ buffets I have gone to. The tranquility in the atmosphere, the staff, the flavorful variety of food to choose from… it’s just 🤌

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Plano that I've ever visited. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian alternatives available. Customer service is excellent, and Covid-19 precautions are implemented securely. Make sure to try out the Biryani, which was my personal favorite among the restaurant's other dishes.

When we went for a buffet, we were not allowed to service instead there is a dedicated person with mask and that person will serve whatever required in a new plate. So no old plates were used. And table arrangement follow social distancing.

What is the REAL price for the lunch buffet? It seems always changing and ambiguous.. I went there on one Monday and the price is $11.99 and another $9.99. They said it’s a special celebration day. How am I supposed to know?

Almost all of the Indian restaurants charge a higher price for the Weekend lunch buffet (including Friday) than the regular weekday buffet. Apart from that the buffet is expensive on a US holiday or on some special Indian festival days. The price changes from restaurant to restaurant; Andhra Cafe is one of the cheapest and more reasonable compared to the other Indian restaurants around. I would recommend to check with the restaurant to see if they have a special pricing if you are planning to visit on a weekday.
