I have read a lot of reviews most said the "good sites" by the lake and 50amp are taken by permanent residents, if you are a member of TT how is being permanent possible? I have reservations for end of March, and seriously thinking of cancelling.

Those are either annual or somehow grandfathered in and most likely will never leave. The campground is really nice. We loved it there and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Every single campground has annuals or "permanent" lots. There's no way around that with any campground, especially TT. Lake Whitney is really nice too. Our favorite is definitely Lake Conroe though. They did/are doing a ton of upgrades to be a "resort". There are some disappointing aspects of TT, but overall we love our membership. We fill.timed for about 2 years and only stayed at TT

I just hope I'm not disappointed, @ TT lake Whitney now, there are permanent residents here too. We travel all over, but if we want to settle down id like to know i can stay put at one I really like. My mistake about the 50amp (misread the post)

As for as I know we never had 50 amp it's a ok place but no 50 amp un less they have upgraded since last year almost every other site was out of order, the full timers have the better sites. I'm not sure how you become a full timers cause we travel around to all the different RV RESORTS
