Nice campground, but not very accommodating for us who like to tent. It got down to the upper 40's during the night, since we depend on our fire to cook and keep warm, we needed wood. But the firewood was locked up, knocked at camp host, but no one answered. At noon it was still locked. It is hard to enjoy a getaway with no fire. There are some of us who still like to tent!

Another great weekend spent at our fantastic SD state parks! Camp was clean, shaded and had firewood available. If you forgot anything, there is a gas station within a few minutes of driving. It did get crowded on their small beach, but we had alot of fun biking and hiking on their trail. There is also a kids in the park trail for the little ones with some fun prizes given after you sign up online. Tons of colorful damsel flies and thousands of lightning bugs danced around the shoreline and tall grass. Memories were made!

It's a super small beach and there was alot of people on the weekend we were there. I don't remember seeing a sign, but I wasn't looking for one either. We did not take our dog, she stayed in the ac camper.
