The park is actually pretty nice but good luck enjoying your stay..... staff is extremely rude and yells at guests for "breaking rules" that they make up on the spot. Try to apologize and they just berate you more. It's very easy to see why a park that is otherwise nice sits virtually empty. This will be our first and last stay here. Consider yourself warned about the big Karen energy. Update - this park has recieved 3 diffrent ONE star reviews in under ONE HOUR all stating the staff are very rude towards guests. I will be contacting thousand trails and equity lifestyles (the parent comany) and encourage others to do the same. It's clear they have a issue with disgruntled employees.

Thousand trails park on the lake. Sites are far apart, which is nice. Very pretty area. Friendly staff. Pool and activities. They have scheduled family and kid activities. Free ice cream on Fridays and some days have free coffee and donuts. Awesome place.

Great family fun. Pros-Swimming, fishing, recreation-center, putt putt golf and biking. They had a craft for the boys and ice cream cups. The recreation lady was great. Check in a breeze and nice gentlemen. Beautiful property. Cons-bumpy roads and bathrooms needed cleaning and updating. We will be back!!!

This park has seen much improvement in the last three years. It is a quiet park. It has two pools and lots of trees, which is wonderful in the hot Texas summers. The park sits on Lake Tawokai, fishing is good on this lake. Thousand Trails making improvements to all the parks they own. We are thankful for our membership π

You can rent a lot for up to 30 days
No
Not as of last weekend. You have to go on line to purchase a day pass to get I the park.
Lot rent varies, it is best if you call them.
It is my understanding, as a thousand trails member, that you can go as day camp too and use all facilities as a member.
The last time we went it was $10 per car to get in, I would call just to check before you go!
I have to say that this is one of the worst thousand trails, they really need to clean this place up and get 50 amp. I don't think they provide anything, hell, they won't even make the annual clean their camp sites.
Those are either annual or somehow grandfathered in and most likely will never leave. The campground is really nice. We loved it there and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Every single campground has annuals or "permanent" lots. There's no way around that with any campground, especially TT. Lake Whitney is really nice too. Our favorite is definitely Lake Conroe though. They did/are doing a ton of upgrades to be a "resort". There are some disappointing aspects of TT, but overall we love our membership. We fill.timed for about 2 years and only stayed at TT
