The area is quite large. I have been going there for years. I the time i have been there. I have seen two garden snakes. Very rare to see snakes.

Noy very many they're there but theyll avoid you just avoid dense rock feilds nd u should be fine

I have not seen any, but it looks like rattlesnake country. If you are hiking, they will feel the vibration of your steps and leave the trail. If you have dogs though, it could be a problem.

I have lived in the area for 10 plus years and I've only seen 1 rattle snake in the area if you stay on the paths it's pretty easy to avoid them

Late fall to early spring not much of a problem. Summer you can see quite a few rattlers along the canyon rim, amongst the rocks, and occasionally near the water around Swan Falls Dam.
