Yes, there is a lagoon that you can canoe or kayak to (provided at campground) off the big water. We personally didn't fish, but a ton of people were and managers said there are some cool unique fish in there. Great place to stay!
I'm sorry I don't know for sure. I would assume so but I didn't do any fishing when I was there.
