The owners are very friendly and the rv park is well kept. The scenery is great. You have the Prairie, lake and many birds to watch. The rv sites are narrow and you are facing your neighbors front door. We were about 10 feet apart door to door. My first exposure to this type of setup. It is close to the interstate which makes a good one night stop over.

Great campground, especially for just a one night stop. The sites are very level, we didn't even have to unhook. The sites are a little close but we've had worse. It's right off the highway but the noise isn't very noticeable. There are beautiful views, there's a nice playground, and the owners are on-site and great! In the time in took me to check in (they greeted me by name!) My husband has already been guided to our site and was ready to put jacks down and slides out. While the kids were playing the owner came and asked us if they could have popsicles and then he went and got a bag and brought it out to the kids. Definitely would stop here again!

Easy access from I-94. Small pleasant campground. Children's play area. Full hookups with 30 amp service. We would stay again.

We stayed at the park for five nights as we were making our way east from Montana. We passed on a county park we saw and continued on I-94 until we got to Prairie Cove Campground. I'm certainly glad we did. This is exactly the kind of park we like. It's what I refer to as a "Mom and Pop" park. It is a small park that offers basic amenities with full hook-ups, but only 30 amp service. We require 50 amp service for our 5th wheel, but the weather was nice and cool so we didn't think it would be a problem not being able to run both A/Cs. We were correct, and never had a problem. The sites are set amongst mature trees overlooking a beautiful meadow. The sites are clean, well maintained, and easily navigable. The buildings were clean and well kept too. The owners live on the property and were very helpful and friendly. We drove to Fergus Falls, Ashby and Alexandria for provisions. Ashby is TINY, but there is a small market and gas station in town. Alexandria has the most shopping to offer, as well as a thriving downtown district. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.
