Facilities, lake and trails are all nice… But not sure who the genius was that decided to put the only 3 tent camping spaces directly next to the largest RV parking places in the park. Air conditioning running all night is not what you want to hear while camping. Seriously, someone needs to redesign the camping arrangements here.

Relaxing weekend. Putting it on the list for places to return. Park ranger was checking fish quality. Not a bad catch! He was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Honestly surprised me! In a good way. The state has put some money into the campsites, trails, horseback riding and lake. The trees are beautiful around the park. We rode bikes around the lake on the trail. Several horseback people were seen on the horse trails. Very pretty ride. Played at playground, beach, and several fishing spots. Had a great time and glad this is close to home. Still have my trips to Jackson hole planned, but will be coming here more for short excursions.

Wonderful camping location away from trains and highways. Quite, spacious, asphalt camp pads. Lake Beach with swimming area adjacent to the campground. Lots of roads for kids to ride bikes. Crushed rock bike/hike trail around the lake.

The news said the beach was shut down cause of green algae

Also can fill at water hydrants near both of the shower houses. Dump station is in town on hwy 13 just over a block north of main street.
