It's a county lake, there is no office, you can get fishing license at Whites Grocery store and they now have tackle supplies also... while your in Medicine, drive out west and see the gyp hills. Enjoy your stay. Its a great place to take the kids on a day trip, a nice hiking trail, and fishing spots... If Your Spending The Nights, The City Park Has Showers and Hook ups.
Far as i know, they are never closed.
