Spectacular, one-of-a-kind, walk-in park for able-bodied owners of dogs with good voice recall! Some descriptions of this park note that it is fenced on three sides, but it is NOT. There is a single fence separating the dog park from the other end of the island, and thick brush runs on the two long sides of the island— with breaks in the brush for river access. The double-gate does not lock. There are trash receptacles, waste bags, picnic tables, and benches closest to the fence; none at the river end. A best place to be a pup. 😊

Great park with wading water access, lot of space for running and chasing a ball. However, the parking lot is a University lot and they will give tickets. There's construction, so I don't know if there is a designated dog park lot. We were there for 20 min and came back to a $20 ticket. Hopefully, we can get a visitor waiver. There should be storage parking for the dog park for those of us traveling and must needing a quick stop for our furry friends

Big park with fun low water access for the dogs. River on sides can get high and fast so be careful if your pup tries to get in.

Large space with an open area at the start, trees around the edge and plenty of room for the dogs to run. Access to the river for swimming. Not too crowded (in January)

Probably not!
On the weekends and after 5:00 on the weekdays I park near the University. Otherwise I park in the Albertsons parking lot on the outskirts. I've never had an issue.
