most time they dont charge..i went there 2 months ago..shot 26 minutes worth of video around the king and queen seat.nonkne was at the Booth...6 years ago..i got charged $2.00 dollars its a hit and missim gonna take some pics of the little booth at tje top of the hill where that guy charged me 2.00 last year.. The dialsapointing part..i put my last 1.67 in gas for my scooter to drive 22 miles to get there and he would not cut me a break. Thats why the next time im there. I am taking pics and recording anyone who charges fees to see if this is allowed.. I endes up pushing my scooter though the woods to the king and queens seat. So i got in..
There is sometimes a fee for parking on Rock Ridge, on the top of the hill. If you park at the bottom of the hill near Deer Creek, or over by the ranger station(roughly south of the hill) there is never a fee. Either way there's a 5 to 10 minute hike to the top.
No if someone is charging you a fee, they are more then likely scamming you
