I love Smith Hardware. The staff is so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. If they don't have what you need or they're not sure how to help you, they don't hesitate to tell you and recommend somewhere to go. But I find that 99% of the time, they can help and have what I need. If you're close by, definitely stop in for a visit.

They hire a lot of kids here, but they know their stuff. I've been here several times and every time I come in they are friendly, and ask what I'm looking for. Each time they always know exactly which aisle the thing I'm looking for is in. Their prices are a little higher sometimes, but I'd rather support a local business than a big box store any day. Top notch service here.
