Great park. Clean. Pretty. Well marked trails. No cell reception. Download maps before going.

Easy hiking trails and decent views. Definitely a great place to set up a hammock and just vibe.

Nice 3 mile loop to hike (map says 2?) with a great payoff at king and queen seat rocks. Also a quick ride up the road will get you to a nice waterfall

A small but excellent state park. Great scenery, good hiking, and many interesting places to check out. Swimming and tubing are popular on the larger creek, though there are rapids that should be avoided (powerful slot rapids that have a history of causing drownings, though they would be fun for a short white water course (very short though)). Good accommodations for a picnic or even a cookout. There is an old man made structure on one side of the creek that looks like it is either a bridge support or a foundation for a small structure (unlikely, but almost looks like a watch tower now); still trying to figure out it's origin/purpose/history, maybe part of a mill.

Not as far as I know. The park closes at dusk.
most time they dont charge..i went there 2 months ago..shot 26 minutes worth of video around the king and queen seat.nonkne was at the Booth...6 years ago..i got charged $2.00 dollars its a hit and missim gonna take some pics of the little booth at tje top of the hill where that guy charged me 2.00 last year.. The dialsapointing part..i put my last 1.67 in gas for my scooter to drive 22 miles to get there and he would not cut me a break. Thats why the next time im there. I am taking pics and recording anyone who charges fees to see if this is allowed.. I endes up pushing my scooter though the woods to the king and queens seat. So i got in..
Down by the falls along Rt 24 there are picnic areas and you do see people in the water. There are Park Rangers there to help you out with more info.
There is at least one small parking lot by the road that is not gated
No
You can still go tubing. The park is open year round, however, the water temperature will soon be too cold for tubing. Please keep in mind that we do not rent or sell tubes at the park, and there is no designated area for tubing.
Not near here.
