If you are going to drop off blankets and gloves that you already have in your possession at the shelters, it might be better to call ahead because sometimes the need is at one shelter more than the other. The tendency is for items to go from the Men's Shelter to the Women's Shelter and from the Women's Shelter to the Thrift Store. Items do not usually move in the opposite direction. Even though the main donation site is at 120 W Apple St, the necessities that the homeless use can be donated directly to either shelters while resell goods should be donated to 120 W Apple St for the thrist store. The Women's Shelter houses Men, Women, and Children while the Men's Shelter houses only Men.
