No it's not free for adults is 18 dollars and for 12 and under it's 9 dollars and 5 and under is free then before you walk in you would have to park then pay inside and after that walk out onto stairs to see the crater then it has many other cool things to see inside
it's $22 per adult and $13 for kids now. we arrived at 6:30 (30 mins before closing) and we said no way. It's ashame that they charge so much to see a big pot hole. The should have a separate admission to ONLY see the crator with all that other experience.
Meteor Crater is family owned and operated, and we charge admission to see the crater. Your admission helps provide for the day-to-day operations and long-term preservation of the crater.
Thanks, saved me the time and trouble to detour my big rig, i'm sure it is neat, but $18 to take a few pics of a big hole in the ground?!
You have to pay. It is something you should see once
Unfortunately you have to pay
Its worth the pay
It would be a looong walk and then they will still charge you to see it.
You have to pay to see it. They have fencing around the outside of the crater.
$18 to see a hole in the ground?.. No thanks.I have a life.
