Not dog friendly, they have kennel space though. If you brought your own there is space for it. I ended up just exploring the areas around with my dogs.
I would most certainly think that only service animals are allowed. You actually go through an entry building, elevator (or stairs) and a museum area before getting to crater. And then its sidewalks. So its not just an open park area. 😀 Hope this helps.
