Pretty nice place. Not much in the shade department but a towns well kept secret! 4th of July was not busy, night time the stars are vibrant and seem as if you could reach out n touch them. everyone very courteous. Super nice can't wait to go again.

It would be great if the showers still worked. Would pay more to stay if they had those. Otherwise super fun and would recommend for paddle or swim on your way through the area.

Amazing Camp creek side camp sites with Restrooms, Dumpsters, Picnic tables and 2 boat launch ramps. Has good fishing too as I saw fisherman pulling out some big fish

It's a former county park now maintained by the City of Winslow. The day use area is in good shape but the campground could use some TLC. That said, the campground is very nice. There are a number of waterfront sites that are fairly level. The upper level sites are not perfectly level but are workable. There are lots of sites. Some will accommodate the largest RV. On a Friday night in late March it was only 1/3 full. There is a host camper site, but it was empty. There are no services other than trash dumpsters. You pay $15/night using a credit card at the kiosk at the entrance. We drove in fist to scope it out before paying. Quiet. Just the occasional train in the distance.

Arthur is correct...lots of spaces no reservations needed. Also, not enough trees so a shade ten would be good too.
