The horses tend to congregate near the campground. Be careful getting within kicking range. Admire from a distance and no petting. If you are driving around the campground, be careful as the horses can just run out in front of your car. One was just hit by a park ranger's vehicle a few weeks ago just before dawn.

In the developed area most likely you will find Yankee and his band, Delegates Pride and his band, Joy and his band, and Corkey. I recommend getting the OSV you will see more horses out there
